Anweisung der Zweck (Statement of Purpose)

The world has seen many armed conflicts in its past, but none as significant as World War II. More men were under arms than ever before in history. The world as we know it grew out of that conflict.

Today, over sixty years later, a group of people have formed to remember those men who fought in that war and to preserve the uniforms, weapons, equipment, and vehicles of that era. Militaria collectors, history enthusiasts, military vehicle owners, students businessmen, and active and veteran military personnel fill our ranks as members. Our purpose is to recreate by living example the experiences of the World War II combat soldier.

As members of the Pacific Northwest Historical Group we demand three things of our members: safety, authenticity, and a non-political orientation. Our goal is to educate the public of the importance of World War II history and to sponsor the growth and development of reenacting as a highly rewarding and educational hobby.
