The majority of the events conducted by the Pacific Northwest Historical Group are private tacticals. The reason they are private is generally because the location is not well suited for public viewing. The location for these events are not posted to protect the safety of our members. If you would like to shadow a unit during one of these private tacticals, please contact one of the unit commanders

A joint US and British military operation aimed to bypass German forces entrenched in the Siegfried Line.

The Gothic Line, Norther Italy, 1944-45 - Private Tactical Event
April 03-05, 2009
While the Allies were crossing the Rein, the Soviets nearing Berlin, fighting was still occuring in Norther Italy. British and American units were being held from the southern entrance into Germany.

D-Day +1, Normandy 1944 - Private Tactical Event
May 29-30, 2009
The day after the Day of Days. Allied units attempt to move inland and secure the beachhead.

Stalemate in Normandy, D-Day + 43, Battle for Saint Lo, France in 1944 - PUBLIC Tactical Event
July 17-19, 2009
US and German forces clashed over the strategicly placed city in France blocking Allied forces from captureing the Contentin Penninsula.
This is a PUBLIC tactical event and Living History Display to be held at Fort Stevens, Oregon.
